This huge coin rarity was minted in several metals, its gold version is worth a small fortune today, and only a copy of it has survived in Central Europe. Among the gold finds known as treasure in Kassa, this veret is considered the most outstanding. The treasure is probably from the 17th century. at the end of the century, it could have been hidden by the fleeing emperors. |
