Description: The first independent Hungarian state audit office was established in 1870 under the name of the Hungarian Royal Supreme State Audit Office. Even at the beginning of the 20th century, it supervised the management of public funds and public assets as an organization with independent powers independent of the government. During the political upheavals following the Second World War, the operation of the organization was terminated by decree in 1949. With the constitutional amendment of October 23, 1989 - officially from January 1, 1990 - the State Audit Office was re-established simultaneously with the proclamation of the Third Hungarian Republic. In accordance with the Basic Law, the ÁSZ carries out its tasks defined by law in the interest of Hungarian society. Its mission is to promote the transparency of public finances with its value-creating audits, which are based on a solid professional foundation, and with its extensive knowledge-sharing activities. The State Audit Office of the MNB is issuing a silver commemorative coin with a nominal value of HUF 10,000 and its non-ferrous version with a nominal value of HUF 2,000 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the organization's founding and the 30th anniversary of the resumption of independent auditing by the National Audit Office. The primary role of commemorative coins is to spread knowledge and attract attention, and their use in everyday payment transactions should be avoided. The nominal value on them serves to preserve the collector's value of these coins.

In the "Value" column, we show the highest sell-out or sale price registered on our site since 2018, without taking into account the sell-out date or other special product characteristics (e.g. condition, defects, occasional revisions, etc.).
