Obverse: Az emlékérme előoldalán központi motívumként Győr város történelmi múltjára utaló logó jelenik meg, alatta a „GYŐR” felirattal. A logó kakas motívuma a város egyik jelképét, a vaskakast, illetve annak legendáját idézi meg. Sokak számára a szabadság, a győzelem, a bátorság és a leleményesség diadalának a szimbóluma, hiszen 1598-ban a vaskakas „megszólalása” után sikerült a keresztény csapatoknak visszafoglalniuk a várat a törököktől. A központi motívumot gyöngysor övezi, melyen kívül találhatóak az emlékérme kötelező elemei: köriratban, fent a „MAGYARORSZÁG” felirat, lent a „750” értékjelzés és a „FORINT” felirat, középre szerkesztve, vízszintesen bal oldalon a verés helyére utaló „BP.” verdejel, jobb oldalon a „2021” verési évszám.
Reverse: Az emlékérme hátoldalán központi motívumként a Győr város 750. évfordulójára utaló jubileumi logó látható. A logó részeként megjelenő bástyamotívum, a város török időkben betöltött harcászati szerepére utal. Az előoldal kompozíciójához hasonlóan az éremképet belső gyöngysor tagolja. A gyöngysoron kívül köriratban az „V. ISTVÁN 750 ÉVE ADOMÁNYOZOTT KIRÁLYI VÁROSI JOGOKAT GYŐRNEK” felirat olvasható, melyet egy-egy pont határol. A pontok között, lent, középen látható az emlékérmét tervező Munkácsy-díjas szobrászművész, Lebó Ferenc mesterjegye.

Description: On the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the elevation of Győr to the status of a royal city, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank is issuing a special non-ferrous commemorative coin with a face value of HUF 750, referring to the anniversary. The commemorative coin is issued in an exceptionally high number of 40,000 copies. The commemorative medal was designed by the Győr-based sculptor Ferenc Lebó. Győr is one of Hungary's oldest cities with a long history, one of the economic, intellectual, cultural, religious and sports centers of Western Hungary, and the seat of Győr-Moson-Sopron County. St. István made the settlement a secular and ecclesiastical center when he established a bishopric and a bishopric here. Also known as the city of rivers, Győr owes its importance to its favorable geographical location. In 1271, István V elevated Győr to the rank of royal cities, which gave Győr the highest right available in the Árpád era: the citizens gained the right to freely elect judges, to be exempt from customs duties, to hold fairs and to stop selling goods. During the Turkish era, it played an important military role as a final fortress. The 17-18. In the 19th century, with the reconstruction of the medieval town center that was transformed into a fortress, it became one of the most beautiful baroque cities in Hungary. At the end of the 19th century, it developed into an industrial center, and it still retains the significant role it gained at that time. On the occasion of the 750th anniversary of Győr's elevation to the rank of a royal city, the MNB is issuing a non-ferrous commemorative coin with the name 750 years of Győr. The commemorative coin, issued in a particularly high number of copies of 40,000 pieces, also refers to the anniversary with its face value of HUF 750. The central bank wants to draw attention to the historical past of the county seat and the preservation of traditions and values by making use of the attention-grabbing and informative role of commemorative coins. The use of commemorative coins in everyday payment transactions should be avoided. The face value shown on them has symbolic significance, but it also serves to preserve the collector's value of these coins. Source: MNB
