Obverse: Az emlékérme előlapjának központi motívuma Nemes Nagy Ágnes Szobrokat vittem című versének képi megjelenítése: egy süllyedő vitorláshajó stilizált ábrázolása három óriási fejszoborral a fedélzetén. A víz felületén a Kossuth-díjas költőnő kézírásával olvasható a vers első sora. A költemény, mely a sírkövén is olvasható, Nemes Nagy Ágnes életművének központi kérdését, az alkotó ember dilemmáját fogalmazza meg a verseire oly jellemző szikár megfogalmazással, a tárgyiasság eszközével. Az előlapon találhatóak továbbá az emlékérmék kötelező elemei: középre helyezett felső köriratban a „MAGYARORSZÁG” felirat, két-két egymás alatti sorban, bal oldalon a „2022” verési évszám és a „BP.” verdejel, jobb oldalon a „15000” illetve „2000” értékjelzés és a „FORINT” felirat.
Reverse: Az emlékérme hátlapján Nemes Nagy Ágnes portréja látható, a háttérben könyveivel és az általa példaképként tisztelt Babits Mihály költő portréjával. A hátlap szélén, fent, köriratban a „NEMES NAGY ÁGNES”, bal oldalon, két, egymástól kissé eltolt sorban a Nemes Nagy Ágnes születésének és halálának évét jelölő, „1922” és „1991” felirat olvasható. A hátlap szélén, lent, bal oldalon – a portré ábrázolásába illesztve – Pelcz Balázs tervezőművész mesterjegye látható.

Description: On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ágnes Nemes Nagy, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank will issue silver commemorative coins with a nominal value of HUF 15,000 and non-ferrous metals with a nominal value of HUF 2,000 on Hungarian Poetry Day, April 11. The commemorative coins, made with the thematic expertise of the Petőfi Literary Museum, were designed by the sculptor Balázs Pelcz. Ágnes Nagy Nemes (1922-1991) Kossuth and József Attila prize-winning poet, literary translator, essayist. He published in periodicals from 1945. His first book of poems was published in 1946. In the same year, together with her husband, the writer-critic Balázs Lengyel, she founded the literary magazine Újhold, which was also intended to continue the idealism of the West and gather the young generation of writers, which was banned in 1948. During the years of the harsh dictatorship, Ágnes Nagy Nemes could only publish as a literary translator and a practitioner of children's literature. His second volume was published under the title Dry Lightning in 1957, and the third in 1967 under the title Solstice. He also published his emblematic poem "Szobrokat vittem" in the Között series, which started the volume. Then three collected volumes were published (1969: The Horses and the Angels; 1981: Between; 1986: Memories of the Earth). Ágnes Nagy Nemes is considered to be one of the innovators of Hungarian prose poetry thanks to her late block-like large poems. In addition to his poetry, his essays are also significant. After his masters, Gábor Halász and Antal Szerb, he is the heir of the Babitsi essay writing tradition. He put the contemporary interpretation of Mihály Babits's poetry on new foundations. In 1986, Balázs Lengyel revived Újhold (Újhold-Évkönyv) in a new form, a total of twelve volumes of which were published until the death of Ágnes Nagy Nemes. At a young age, he won the Baumgarten Prize (1948) with his first volume, the Attila József Prize (1969) for his first selected volume, and the Kossuth Prize (1983) in recognition of his life's work. In 1997, together with Balázs Lengyel, they received the Yad Vashem, the "True World" award, for their life-saving activities during the Second World War. Since 1998, he has been a posthumous member of the Digital Literary Academy. Today, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the noble Ágnes Nagy, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank is issuing a silver commemorative coin with a face value of HUF 15,000 and a non-ferrous metal version with a face value of HUF 2,000.
