Description: | Margaret IV. She was born as the daughter of King Béla after the defeated Battle of Muhi. Due to the defeat, the royal couple offered their daughter to God, so she was sent to the Dominican nuns of Veszprém. He did not break his vow, he refused the marriage proposals he received. He was a model of Christian love. He worked during the day and prayed through the nights. He died in the Margitsziget monastery, and his body smelled of roses. He was beatified already five years after his death. |
