Empress Herennia Etruscilla (120-151) was the wife of Emperor Titus Aurelius Fulvus Antoninus (138-161). She became empress in 149, in the 11th year of her husband's reign. Her coins mainly commemorate the important events of her husband's reign. According to the inscriptions, Herennia Etruscilla bore the titles "Pia" (Example), "Felix" (Happy), "Augusta" (Noble) and "Diva" (Goddess) as empress. Her most important coins are: Aureus: Emperor Antoninus and Herennia Etruscilla depicts an empress blessing the altar symbolizing Concordia (Unity). Denarius: depicts Emperor Antoninus holding an olive branch symbolizing peace. Sestertius: depicts Emperor Antoninus holding a spear symbolizing victory. Herennia Etruscilla's reign was relatively short, since 151 died in Her husband, Emperor Antoninus, later declared her a god. Her coins are important sources of the history of the Roman Empire in the 150s.
