Marcia (Lucius Marcius Philippus) consul in the Roman Empire in 112 and 113. He was the maternal uncle of Marcus Aurelius. During its coinage, it issued silver denarius and copper sestertius, usually depicting the portrait of the emperor (Trajan or Hadrian) and the title of the consul. However, some rare coins also showed Marcia's wife, Asinia Galla. The purpose of the coinage was probably to strengthen family ties with the imperial house and the senatorial elite.
