| Description: | udapest, July 14, 2020 – In recognition of the sacrificial work of our compatriots who played an outstanding role in the defense against the coronavirus epidemic and as an expression of the respect we feel for them, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank is issuing a new commemorative version of HUF 10 and HUF 20 circulation coins. From today, 2-2 million copies of the special metal coins will be put into circulation. The face value side of the 10 and 20 forint coins to be issued is the same as the denomination side of the circulation coin of the same denomination currently in circulation, but on the thematic side, the usual depiction of the coat of arms and the Hungarian woman's petal motif is replaced by a new common motif. |
