In 1944, the government of Szálas planned to issue a new series of 10, 100 and 1000 pengős, but due to lack of time, only the 1000 pengő banknote was officially put into circulation (Nov. 4, 1944). The 100 pengős were printed, but were only used by the evacuated troops in Austria. The 10 pengős was no longer in circulation, but the printing plates of the banknote were completed. The banknote was produced with this printing plate in 1977, 1979, as an appendix to a book. The banknote is only available in this form, no other way. NOT a copy or photocopy, made with the original printing plate, on banknote paper, using printing technique (copper printing).

In the "Value" column, we show the highest sell-out or sale price registered on our site since 2018, without taking into account the sell-out date or other special product characteristics (e.g. condition, defects, occasional revisions, etc.). Since the value is mostly determined by the current market trends, the displayed values can only be interpreted as a benchmark and not as the current market price.
