| Obverse: | Az emlékérmék előoldalán kissé aszimmetrikus kompozícióban a Konstantin-keresztnek – a mentők és az életmentés egyetemes szimbólumának – a részlete jelenik meg, ezzel mintegy nemzetközi aspektusba is helyezve a tematikát. Alsó negyedköriratban az Országos Mentőszolgálat jelmondata, a „HIVATÁS AZ ÉLETÉRT” felirat olvasható. Az érmeképet a kötelező elemek – a Konstantin-kereszt ábrázolástól jobbra, két egymás alatti sorban olvasható „MAGYARORSZÁG” felirat és „15000”, illetve „3000” FORINT értékjelzés, valamint az ábrázolás alatt, szintén két sorban elhelyezett „BP.” verdejel és „2023” verési évszám – teszik teljessé. |

A hátoldal középpontjában Magyarország térképe látható, modern, kristályszerű ábrázolásmóddal megjelenítve rajta a mentőállomások országos hálózatát, melynek csúcspontjai az egyes mentőállomásokat, illetve azok helyét jelölik. A térkép jobb alsó részét az OMSZ logója fedi. Félköriratban, fent az „ORSZÁGOS MENTŐSZOLGÁLAT”, lent az „ALAPÍTVA 1948” felirat látható. Az emlékérmét tervező szobrászművész, Molnár Mercédesz mesterjegye a térkép alatt bal oldalon került elhelyezésre. |

| Description: | On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the National Ambulance Service, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) will issue a new 50 HUF commemorative coin, as well as a HUF 15,000 nominal silver and a HUF 3,000 nominal non-ferrous metal commemorative coin on May 10, 2023, the day of the ambulances. The special coins draw attention to the unique characteristics of the National Ambulance Service and at the same time pay tribute to the self-sacrificing work of the comrades. The new circulation coin commemorative version is produced in 1 million copies, while the silver and non-ferrous commemorative coins can be minted in five thousand copies each. The renewed thematic side of the 50 HUF coin was designed by sculptor Zoltán Kovács, and the commemorative coins were designed by sculptor Mercédesz Molnár. The history of organized life-saving goes back to the second half of the 19th century in Hungary, where in 1887 organized life-saving was one of the first in Europe to start. It was then that the Voluntary Rescue Association was founded in Budapest, on the initiative of Géza Kresz, the capital's district physician. A nationwide network of ambulance stations was established in 1926 after the First World War. With the establishment of the National Ambulance Service (OMSZ) on May 10, 1948, the rescue service became unified and state-controlled. While there were 76 ambulance stations in 1926, today there are 256 ambulance stations across the country to efficiently assist patients. The Hungarian system also has unique features. Only in Hungary is there college-level rescue officer training. The National Ambulance Service considers on-site care to be of utmost importance: they try to stabilize the patient's condition on the spot, which requires serious equipment and expertise on the part of the paramedics. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the OMSZ, the MNB is issuing a commemorative version of the 50 forint circulation coin, as well as a silver commemorative coin with a denomination of 15,000 forints and its non-ferrous metal version with a denomination of 3,000 forints, also in line with the day of the ambulances celebrated on May 10, the day of the foundation.
