| Obverse: | Az emlékérme előlapjának bal oldalán futó, stilizált népművészeti virágmotívumokat és galambábrázolást a Magyar népmesék rajzfilmsorozat főcíme ihlette, amelyet Arany János: Rege a Csodaszarvasról c. művének első sorai: „Száll a madár, ágrul ágra, / Száll az ének, szájrul szájra” inspiráltak. A főcímet idézi továbbá a jellegzetes zsinórírás, amellyel a tervezőművész az emlékérmék kötelező elemeit (két egymás alatti sorban a „Magyarország” feliratot és a „2000 forint” értékjelzést, illetve szintén 2 egymás alatti sorban a „2022” kibocsátási évszámot, valamint a „BP.” verdejelet) jelenítette meg. Fent középen a magyar mondavilágot megidéző nap-, jobb oldalon a hold- és az azt körülvevő 9 csillagmotívum teszik teljessé az előoldali érmeképet. Az égitestek a népmesében is kiemelkedő szerepet kapnak, értük zajlik a mese két kulcsfigurája közötti küzdelem. |

| Description: | The Magyar Nemzeti Bank is issuing a 2,000 HUF non-ferrous commemorative coin called "Király kis Miklós" on the birthday of Elek Benedek, the day of Hungarian folk tales. The commemorative coin is the second element of the seven-part non-ferrous commemorative coin series launched last year, the dedicated purpose of which is to present the values of Hungarian folk tales and to evoke the visual world of the cartoon series. The commemorative coin was designed by industrial artist Fanni Vékon. The commemorative coin release ceremony will take place in the Hungarian Monetary Museum and Visitor Center as part of the "Researchers' Night" program series. In 1977, the production of the cartoon series Hungarian folk tales began in the studio of Pannónia Filmstúdió in Kecskemét, which, with a total of 100 episodes and 12.5 hours of material, introduces the viewer to the world of folk tales so authentically that on October 15, 2020, the collection of Hungarian folk tales, including the cultural the entire fairy tale series was included in our heritage, with the following justification: "The special visual, musical world and narrative inherent in Hungarian folk tales make the cartoon series a unique value. The kindness, humor, cunning, and mischievousness of folk tales faithfully depict the soul, feelings, and true character of our nation. In addition to all this, in the episodes of the cartoon series of Hungarian folk tales, which are widely recognized here and beyond our borders, such eternal truths and basic values are formulated that make it worthy of being part of the Collection of Hungarian Folktales." The Magyar Nemzeti Bank issues a commemorative coin named "Király kis Miklós" as the second element of the coin series featuring the cartoon series Hungarian folk tales. The commemorative coin, which evokes the key characters of the fairy-tale conflict and the world of Hungarian folktales, fits into the visual world of the cartoon.
