Rama VI Coinage

VI. During Rama's reign (1910-1925), the following coins were minted in Thailand: Metal coins, 1 fuang (silver), ½ fuang (silver), ¼ fuang (silver), 10 satang (copper), 5 satang (copper), 1 satang (copper ).Paper money was printed in denominations of 100 ticals, 20 ticals, 10 ticals, 5 ticals, 1 ticals. It was created by King Rama and on the reverse side the image of the Royal Palace of Chula Chom Klao or Wat Phra Kaew. The face of the banknotes is also included in VI. King Rama, and on the reverse side was an image of various Thai landscapes or buildings. The coins were minted by the Royal Mint, and the banknotes were minted by the National Bank of Siam.
