Harald V 's life

King Harald V of Norway, a royal prince of Norway from a branch of the House of Oldenburg, has been King of Norway since 17 January 1991, head of the Church of Norway and Commander-in-Chief of the Norwegian Army. He is the first Norwegian king born on Norwegian soil since 1380. He is currently the oldest living monarch in Europe.V. Harald was born on February 21, 1937 in the suburbs of Oslo, on the Skaugum estate. He was raised as the only son of Crown Prince Olaf (later Olaf V) and Princess Márta Bernadotte of Sweden and Norway. The II.
