King Peter I of Serbia-Croatia-Slovenia reigned between 1903 and 1921. Its currency was the Serbian dinar, which was introduced in 1878. The dinar was based on gold and was worth 100 peasants. Under Peter I, different coins were minted, such as 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 peasants and 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 100 dinars. The coins were made of copper, nickel, silver or gold. The coins usually featured the portrait of Peter I, the coat of arms, the name and the year of the reign.
