George IV 's life

ARC. György was the ruler of the island country for ten years between 1820 and 1830. III. He was born as the first-born son of King George and immediately became the number one expectant to the throne.

It is interesting that the king was enthusiastic about new fashion trends, which is why many called him "England's first gentleman". He was the namesake of the new stylistic trend of the 1810s, the Regency era.

His relationship with his wife, Karolina from Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, was bad, so they only lived together for a year, but they had a child, Sarolta.

After he and his wife separated, he lived with Maria Fitzherbert for the rest of his life.

Since his child, Princess Sarolta, died in 1817 and his eldest brother Frigyes did not have an heir either, his second brother Vilmos succeeded him on the throne.
